QIS Special Education

Welcome to the Special Education Department at Quashnet School

At Quashnet School, we are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students in Grades 3 through 6 can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Our Special Education Department provides specialized instruction and related services for students who require additional support to make effective progress in the general education curriculum. We collaborate closely with families, general education teachers, and support staff to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) that reflect each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals. Through a team-based approach, we work to ensure that every student has the tools and opportunities they need to succeed and feel a sense of belonging in our school community.

For additional information, including district-wide special education resources and contact details, please visit the Mashpee Public Schools Special Education Department and learn more about the Special Education Parent Advisory Committee (SEPAC), which partners with families to support and strengthen special education services throughout the district.
